I harvested some starfruit from my garden. I took three ripe fruit off the tree and there is one left. The fruit when fully ripe is a deep dark orange. The variety is called "Kari" and is a Hawaiian hybrid. Normally I don't like this type of fruit but I was told that this variety is exceptionally sweet. Yup what everyone said is true. It was nice, sweet, and juicy. The flesh was also crisp and firm. If any of you are in a warm climate I recommend you try to grow this. The tree is prolific and it will give you a lot of fruit really fast.
This is my Kari tree. It is small but a trooper. Fruit are still yellow but will turn a dark orange color when fully ripe.
Here is a close up of some of the fruit. When the tree gets bigger, so will the output and size of the fruits.
My Pugnificent is killing me. I know pugs are notorious for being exceptionally difficult to house break, but my pug is wearing me out. I got him to urinate on the pad, but when it comes to taking a dump, he likes to drop his load everywhere but on the pad. It's driving me mad! If any pug owner knows why or have any tips, please let me know. Anyway to close, here is a video of my pug eating away. He acts like his starving everyday even though I feed him like a king. He is eating his favorite dish, skinless chicken, brown rice, and a little extra virgin olive oil mixed in.

Little Pug Growing Up
Man Pugnificent is really growing up fast. When I got him he was the runt of the litter. He weighed only 2.5 pounds. I took him to the vet recently and he weighed nearly 5 pounds. He had to get a vaccination for some type of virus. The doctor said there may be some type of allergic reaction. Well to my surprise there was. About 4 hours after the shot, my pug was paralyzed. He could not walk and was in terrible agony for the rest of the day. He was luckily fine the next morning. If any of you should get your dog vaccinated, be sure to stay home with them after just to make sure. I'm glad I was home when he got paralyzed. Well anyway, here are some photos and a video of my little Pug Man messing around.

Apples in Hawaii
Hey everyone, part of this is blog is dedicated to gardening which I love with all my heart. I am a fruit tree fanatic as I have devoted my entire property to growing them. I have a a very small yard but I managed to fit nearly 50 plus fruit trees on it. I have all types of different things growing like, apples, oranges, tangerines, bananas, and figs. One of the pride and joys of my garden are my apple trees. With the scorching hot weather here everyone says you can't grow apples. However I have managed to grow three apples trees in my garden which actually do give me apples. I have two Golden Dorsett trees and one Anna tree. The Golden Dorsett is a beast. My first year harvest I managed to get nearly 15-20 apples off one tree. The Golden Dorsett apple is small in size, a little soft in texture, but it is sweet and full of flavor. The Anna apple tree is a Jewish apple tree which bears a red apple. It is not prolific as the Golden Dorsett and has only given my one apple which is still on the tree. I am eager to try it. All my trees are flowering again so I hope to get more apples this year again. Here are a few pictures.
Here is a picture of my Anna Apple tree.

Here is a close up of a Golden Dorsett apple still hanging on my tree. Just about ready to harvest.
I plan to post more pictures of my garden when I can. I have a lot of trees in my yard. To end this post, here is a picture of Pugnificent looking cute and cuddly. Take care gang.

Pugnificent Playing Around
Man, housebreaking a pug is a nightmare. I've read everything people have to say about pugs. Use food, positive reinforcement, scents, etc... My pug has the hardest head. If you secure him in his playpen, he will use his potty box without fail. Once you let him out, my God, he will drop his load everywhere. He is very sly, he will wait until I turn my back before his does it. I tried being stern with him, but his advantage is that he has that "Pug Face" and it kills me every time. Those eyes will just melt your heart away. Anyway here is a bunch of pictures of my little pug man.
